   Judith M. Kasper
 
        Judy has extensive experience representing clients in a wide variety of civil and criminal matters.  She has handled numerous trials and appeals, and she has served as a probate court judge as well as a hearing officer/administrative law judge (public utilities regulation).  Since first starting to practice law in 1975, Judy has dealt with cases related to land use and ownership, eminent domain, environmental law, criminal law and procedure, administrative law, appellate practice, adoptions, guardianships (adult and juvenile), wills, trusts and estates.

        In addition to direct client representation, Judy provides legal research and writing services for other attorneys.  She has written numerous briefs, motions, petitions, legal memoranda and judicial opinions.  She has drafted and analyzed legislation, authored government reports, and provided legal research and writing support for education endeavors.  Judy also has taught courses at Vermont Law School (evidence, ethics, and criminal practice), and the University of New Hampshire School of Law (appellate advocacy).
